Your audience evaluation pack

Evaluate a workflow your team needs to understand

A learning, operations and procurement worksheet for testing a representative decision and documenting what must be confirmed before an institutional deployment.

Download the financial institutions pack (PDF)

Bring the learning lead, a relevant desk or operations specialist, and the owners of procurement, technology and data review as needed.

Choose the product around the outcome

For facilitated trading and market experiences, explore CapitalCMS, CapitalFITS, CapitalFTS and CapitalPMS and confirm delivery arrangements.

A suggested evaluation activity

Review an unresolved settlement exception

Use the fictional matched-but-unsettled trade example. Receiving instructions require verification and no movement is confirmed. Ask a participant to identify the evidence gap, explain the controlled review and distinguish release approval from settlement. Suggested planning time: 40-60 minutes; confirm the actual scenario rules in the demonstration.

Try the public example
  1. Choose a team workflow and one decision that participants should explain.
  2. Use fictional records and agree the evidence to collect; exclude client and account data.
  3. Inspect the selected release with a facilitator, including access, exception handling and saved review where available.
  4. Document capability gaps and procurement questions, then agree whether to investigate a bounded pilot.

What evidence would support a decision?

Operational reasoning

Participants identify missing evidence, explain controls and separate approval from confirmed movement and reconciliation.

Facilitator visibility

Inspect how an instructor reviews attempts, debriefs and available exports for the selected product and release.

Deployment review

Request the applicable security, privacy, retention, hosting and access information; do not infer these from the public examples.

Pilot scope

Agree participants, facilitators, concurrency, time period, support owners and acceptance criteria before wider use.

Bring these questions

  • Which team workflow and decisions are in scope?
  • Which evidence must the facilitator be able to inspect or export?
  • What security, privacy, retention and procurement review is required?
  • Which product capabilities, support arrangements and integrations need written confirmation?

Record the next step

In your downloaded worksheet, record the product, outcome, evidence observed, open questions, decision owner and next review. Choose whether to proceed, resolve gaps or defer. Agree access and commercial scope before wider use.

Simulation evidence supports learning discussion and does not establish regulatory compliance or professional competence. Market examples are not comprehensive jurisdictional rulebooks. SSO, integrations and service levels require explicit confirmation.

Plan an evaluation conversation

Suggested activities use fictional inputs. This pack is an evaluation worksheet, not a product license, compliance attestation or guarantee of availability.

Practical implementation

Build an exercise around the work your team performs.

Use the analyzer suite for analyst development and CapitalBOS for operational decision practice. Facilitated market exercises can use CMS, FITS, FTS or PMS, subject to confirmed product availability and delivery requirements.

  1. 01

    Define the role and decision

For analysts, choose a pricing, valuation, hedging or allocation task and require an explanation of assumptions. For operations teams, choose an exception, control or reconciliation decision that participants must defend.

  2. 02

    Prepare the facilitator

Run the chosen workflow in advance, agree starting assumptions and define what a sound explanation looks like. Confirm who supplies facilitation, participant instructions and the debrief; these responsibilities belong in the implementation scope.

  3. 03

    Run a controlled pilot

Start with a representative group and a fictional case. Test account access, devices and the selected instructor workflow. Confirm participant numbers and facilitation arrangements before expanding to a wider team.

  4. 04

    Review and implement

Inspect the available participant records and reporting, debrief recurring issues and agree any follow-up practice. Set acceptance criteria for access, activity completion and reporting before wider rollout.

Analyst-development example

Ask participants to compare a base valuation with a changed discount rate, yield curve, volatility or allocation. Collect the outputs and a short explanation of the decision, sensitivity and model limitations.

Operations and reporting

In CapitalBOS, review the exception rationale, control decisions and available saved debrief. For each selected product, demonstrate the reports and exports actually required by the team. Product records support development discussions; the institution decides how to assess competence.

Licensing and responsibilities

Agree the deployment before scaling it.

A written proposal should identify the products, intended users, access period, delivery model and implementation responsibilities. Bring your procurement and security requirements to the evaluation.

Scope and facilitation

Specify teams, locations, participant and facilitator numbers, exercise frequency and expected concurrent use. Confirm who leads facilitated sessions and what preparation or delivery services are included.

Access, records and reporting

Agree account management, reporting requirements, learner-record handling and support contacts. Confirm requested institutional SSO, LMS connections or custom reporting explicitly; they are not assumed portfolio features.

Pilot acceptance and rollout

Agree a pilot activity, observable acceptance criteria, implementation dates, escalation routes and support expectations. Confirm changes to scope before wider deployment.

Prepare for the conversation

A proposal shaped around your use.

We will discuss the products, access period, users, and support you need. Availability and commercial terms are confirmed in your proposal.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

How can the products support analyst and operations development?

The analyzers support pricing, valuation, hedging and allocation exercises; CapitalBOS supports exception, control and reconciliation practice. Start with the role and decision to be practiced, then review the participant evidence and facilitator workflow in a controlled pilot.

Are SSO, LMS connections and custom reports included automatically?

No. Account management, institutional SSO, LMS connections, custom reporting, onboarding and service levels require explicit confirmation for the selected products. A portfolio listing does not establish those features or contractual commitments.
